24 Hours Hotline Services
In case an accident happens or if you suffer from accidental bodily
injury while travelling Mainland China, 24-Hour Emergency Assistance
Services will be provided by the NHC-IHECC in Beijing,
China and Inter Partner Assistance Hong Kong) Limited (IPA) in Hong Kong, China.
Using the China Medical Card
Admission of network hospitals for accidental emergency medical
treatment without deposit up to the maximum Limit of Benefits
specified in this Policy. In case of an accident, the Insured shall
follow the prescribed procedures under the insurance policy contract
approaching the network hospital for immediate treatment.

Insured Person should be aged between 16 and 75, holder of Hong Kong Identity Cards or Macao SAR Resident Identity Card or Mainland Travel Permit for Taiwan Resident(s) or Passport of other overseas country. A proof of relationship between Insurance applicant and Insured person becomes necessary if the Insured person is not the Insurance applicant himself/herself. In this situation, the insured applicant shall only be the parents, spouse, children or the legal guardian of the Insured Person.

insurrection or military or usurped power, martial law, terrorist attack, nuclear fission,
radioactive contamination, Illness, infectious disease or by medical or surgical treatment
(other than treatment required on account of an accident covered by this policy), hunting, mountaineering
necessitating ropes or guides, skating, water skiing, winter sports, diving, racing of any kind or fighting
or insanity or being under influence of drugs, alcohol,
intoxication, solvent abuse etc. For details, please refer to original policy terms and conditions.

No refund premium will be made for 1-Year policy. |

For 2-Years or 3-Years policy, refund will be only made if the
remaining unexpired term exceeds twelve months, subject to minimum
premium under the policy. In case of cancellation, you must return
the original medical card to the Company for cancellation. |
Emergency Medical Expenses
In the event of accident, simply follow steps under our medical card
insurance policy to arrange the emergency medical treatment. The Insured
person should first call Beijing 24 hours hotline who will confirm the
case, coverage and direct you to the nearby Network Hospitals for
emergency medical treatment. Insured person only has to present our
medical card to the Network Hospital when he arrives the network
hospital for emergency treatment and no deposit is required. We will
verify the claim submitted from the Hospitals & reimburse medical
expenses to them directly.
If you pay the medical expenses without using our medical card, you
should complete the claim form and return to China BOCOM Insurance Co.,
Ltd. together with the original hospital receipts and medical
certificate issued by the attending doctor for processing.
Emergency Assistance Services
For using other emergency services (other than network hospital
admission) such as Emergency Medical Evacuation, Repatriation etc. the
Insured person should call our Hong Kong 24 hours "IPA" hotline for
assistance.
